Metro Jaya Regional Police reveals there are no signs of accidents in the mysterious death of the retired Indonesian National Military (TNI) official, Brigadier General Hendrawan Ostevan. This statement came up following the criminal location examination on Tuesday (1/21/2025).
“We found no signs of car accidents before the car plunged into the water,” said the Head of Metro Jaya Regional Police Public Relations, Senior Superintendent Ade Ary Syam Indradi on Wednesday (1/22/2025).
Explained by Ade, the investigators of Indonesian National Police (INP) Forensic Laboratory Center team have completed the examination on the car driven by the TNI general. The examination involves the inspection of traces/toll marks on the front and rear bumpers, the four car wheels, the doors, windshield, right front window, handbrake, gear shift, and steering wheel.
According to Ade, investigators have also taken the coordinate points to examine the weather, wind-speed, and the humidity of the location during the incident via satellite.
"It is estimated that the speed of the car just before it fell into the sea was 35 km/h by comparing the distance and time on the CCTV video at the scene," said Ade.
