Inp.polri.go.id - Paris.  President Prabowo Subianto arrived in Paris, France, on Sunday evening (13/7/2025)to attend the French National Day military parade (Bastille Day) as the guest of honor, at the official invitation of President Emmanuel Macron.

From Brussels, the President landed at Orly Airport around 6.35 pmlocal time. He was welcomed by French Minister of the Interior Bruno Retailleau and French Ambassador to Indonesia Fabien Penone. An honor guard of 20 French military personnel lined up at the apron, symbolizing France’s formal and warm welcome.

The Indonesian delegation at the airport also included Ambassador Muhammad Oemar and Defense Attaché Air Vice Marshal Anang Surdwiyono.

Upon arriving at the hotel, President Prabowo was greeted by members of the Indonesian diaspora, including children in traditional attire who presented him with flowers. 

The Bastille Day parade will be held on Monday at 10 am on the Champs-Élysées. For the first time, Indonesia will send a 500-member contingent from the the Indonesian Military (TNI) and the Indonesian National Police (INP), including cadets, to join the march alongside French forces.
