Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Prabowo Subianto held a meeting with United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan (MBZ) at Qasr Al Bahr Palace on Thursday to solidify bilateral ties. 

The high-level visit marked the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two nations, focusing on expanding cooperation in energy, investment, and defense. The leaders engaged in an intimate outdoor dialogue, reflecting the deep personal rapport and growing economic synergy between Jakarta and Abu Dhabi, according to a statement published by antaranews.com on Friday (27/2/2026).

Accompanied by key cabinet members, including the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono, Minister of Energy and Mineral Affairs Bahlil Lahadalia, Cabinet Secretary Lieutenant Colonel Teddy Indra Wijaya and CEO of state-owned arms maker PT Pindad Sigit P. santosa,President  Prabowo explored future economic partnerships. 

The visit concluded with a private one-on-one discussion and a ceremonial iftar dinner, emphasizing the fraternal bond shared by the two Muslim-majority nations.
