inp.polri.go.id - Tulang Bawang. The Tubaba Sub-regional Police Traffic Unit is currently holding a socialization stage regarding the regulation of Over Dimension and Overload (ODOL) vehicles as an effort to create orderly and safe traffic in the West Tulang Bawang area on Monday (6/9/2025).

Head of the Tubaba Police Traffic Unit, Police Senior Inspector Fony Salimubun explained that this socialization stage is part of a preventive measure before the operation to regulate. 

“We want to provide an understanding to drivers and owners of goods vehicles regarding the importance of complying with the rules of dimensions and loads. ODOL is not only a violation, but also endangers safety and accelerates road damage,” said Fony

Socialization is carried out using various methods, such as by putting up banners, disseminating information through the mass media, and to social media.

Not only that, police has also contacted several companies that own heavy vehicles and will also conduct socialization there.

In addition to conducting socialization to the community who have vehicles, police also supervises the KIR test in collaboration with Dishub and Jasaraharja.
