Inp.polri.go.id - Batam. The Riau Islands Regional Police have arrested three suspects for distributing vape liquid containing narcotics, including a civil servant from Batam’s Immigration Office.

Director of Narcotics Investigation Senior Superintendent Anggoro Wicaksono said on Wednesday (29/10/2025) that the suspects are identified as MAP (a civil servant), FP (a DJ), and GP (a private company secretary). 

“The first arrest was FP, followed by GP and MAP, who later turned himself in,” he said, as reported by antaranews.com.

The investigation revealed that FP obtained the narcotics-laced vape liquid from a Malaysian supplier, currently on the police’s wanted list. The seized evidence includes three vape bottles containing MDMB-4EN-PINACA with a total weight of 18.74 grams, three mobile phones, and one car.

All three suspects have been charged under Law No. 35/2009 on Narcotics, carrying potential penalties of death, life imprisonment, or a minimum of five years in prison.
