inp.polri.go.id - Kupang. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo ensures the voting rights for the refugees of Mount Lewotobi Laki-Laki eruption will be fulfilled.

During his visit to the evacuation posts, the Chief of Police also explained that special Polling Stations (TPS) will be provided in the evacuation posts to ensure that all refugees can exercise their right to vote, including those who have taken refuge in other districts.

“We appeal to the refugees to cast their vote on November 27th at the polling stations prepared here," said General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.

The visit of the Chief of Police to the refugee post is part of the government's steps to ensure the welfare and basic rights of refugees. This is in accordance with President Prabowo Subianto's direction for all related agencies to work together in handling the impact of the Mount Lewotobi eruption disaster.

In addition to ensuring the availability of special polling stations, the Chief of Police also reviewed basic services at the post, such as food, clean water, and health services, to ensure that the needs of refugees are met.

"We are committed to continuing to monitor and ensure that all the needs of refugees, including their democratic rights, can be implemented properly," said the Chief of Police.

The support from the government and the police regarding the provision of a special Polling Station was welcomed positively by the refugees. They appreciated the government's attention which not only provided physical assistance but also ensured that their democratic rights were guaranteed even in an emergency situation.
