inp.polri.go.id - Mataram. The Mataram Sub-regional City Police are continuing their investigation into the alleged attack that occurred on Udayana Road and Airlangga Road in Mataram City. 

In handling the case, police confiscated two sharp weapons, two sickles, and arrested 10 people suspected of involvement. Some of them are children.

Mataram Sub-regional City Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head, Police Senior Inspector I Made Dharma Yulia Putra, stated that investigators are still questioning the alleged perpetrators and combing several locations for evidence and to uncover the possible involvement of other parties.

"We have secured two sharp weapons, and we have conducted inspections and searches at several locations, and the team is still working," Dharma said on Tuesday (10/27/2026).

According to Dharma, the investigation of the 10 people who have been arrested is still ongoing. Police are also open to the possibility of additional suspects as the case progresses.

"We have secured them and are conducting further investigations, and it is possible there will be additional perpetrators. We are still conducting further investigations and combing through the area," he said.

Dharma explained that the suspects arrested were suspected of being connected to the attack on Udayana Road and Airlangga Road. However, the incident on Sriwijaya Road, in front of Epicentrum Mall, was confirmed not to be a stabbing.

He stated that the people who fell from their motorcycles at that location were associates of the suspects already apprehended by the police.

"The people in front of Epicentrum were associates of the perpetrators who fell, and this was not the case on Jalan Udayana," he explained.

In addition to questioning the suspects, investigators are also investigating possible links to a motorcycle gang that had previously been arrested and attracted public attention after a video of it circulated on social media.

The police are continuing their investigation to uncover the roles of each party, trace the origin of the seized sharp weapons, and determine whether any other parties were involved in the series of events.
