Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. State-owned toll operator PT Jasa Marga recorded 1.19 million vehicles returning to Greater Jakarta post- Eid al-Fitr from 31 March to 5 April 2025, marking a 49.8% increase from normal traffic.
The data comes from four main toll gates: Cikampek Utama (Trans Java), Kalihurip Utama and Japek II Selatan (Bandung), Cikupa (Merak), and Ciawi (Puncak).
The majority of traffic—662,945 vehicles or 55.5%—came from the east (Trans Java and Bandung), followed by 283,209 vehicles (23.7%) from the west (Merak), and 248,071 vehicles (20.8%) from the south (Puncak), according to antaranews.com.
On 5 April 2025, or five days after Eid, 275,685 vehicles entered Greater Jakarta—an increase of 96% from normal levels. Notably, traffic at Cikampek Utama surged by 376.3%.
