Inp.polri.go.id - Depok. Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo said that the 2026 INP Chief (Kapolri) Cup Shooting Championship serves as both a premier sports competition and a vital strategic platform to strengthen synergy between the INP, the military, government institutions, media leaders, and the public.

"We purposely invited our partners from ministries, institutions, and the House of Representatives (DPR) to participate, alongside media leaders and editors, to enhance institutional synergy," he said during the event held at the Hoegeng Iman Santoso Shooting Range, Korbrimob Polri, Kelapadua, Depok, on Saturday (25/7/2026).

Running from 23 to 26 July 2026, as part of the 80th Bhayangkara Day celebrations, the tournament features International Practical Shooting Confederation (IPSC), Non-IPSC, handgun, PCC, and Precision Shooting categories for individual and team events. 

Beyond fostering institutional collaboration, the four-day championship aims to hone operational weapons proficiency for active law enforcement officers while preparing national shooting athletes for upcoming national and international competitions.
