The activity was led directly by Majalengka Sub-regional Police Chief, Superintendent Aldy Sulaiman where he says that the alcoholic beverages consisted of various types, from manufactured liquor, as well as traditional liquors such as ciu and arak, which are often circulated in the community.

"Today, we destroyed 2,348 bottles of liquor, consisting of various brands of manufactured liquor, as well as traditional liquors like ciu and arak. This evidence is the result of intensive, ongoing enforcement by our units," stated M Aldy.

He emphasized that this destruction operation was the fourth in a row in the past two months. A comprehensive evaluation of the data recapitulation from the first to fourth phases noted a significant decrease in the number of evidence recovered in the field.

"This decline in the graph does not mean that our supervision is slackening. On the contrary, it is a positive indication that the scope for illegal liquor distribution in Majalengka is narrowing,” noted Aldy.

This activity also demonstrated the synergy between the police, local government, religious leaders, community leaders, and youth in maintaining the honor and safety of Majalengka Regency. 

The presence of these diverse groups emphasized that eradicating the circulation of dangerous goods cannot be the responsibility of one party alone, but is a shared responsibility of all elements of the nation.
