Inp.polri.go.id - Mataram. The Mataram City Sub-regional Police deployed approximately 900 joint personnel to secure the 2026 MotoGP riders parade held in Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara, on Wednesday afternoon (7/10/2026).

"At least 900 officers are involved in securing today's parade," said Mataram Police Chief Senior Superintendent Hendro Purwoko following a preparation roll call at Sangkareang Field in Mataram.

The security force comprises joint personnel from the Mataram City Police, Mobile Brigade (Brimob), Indonesian Military, and local municipal agencies. Starting at 3 pm local time, the parade route spans from Sangkareang Park along Jalan Pejanggik, passing the Hubbul Wathan Islamic Center to Jalan Udayana, and concluding at Teras Udayana. 

Police implemented temporary traffic diversions along all access roads leading to the parade route to manage crowd flow ahead of the main race events at Mandalika Circuit from 9–11 October 2026, as reported by antaranews.com.
