A Suspect of Fake Diploma Allegation Case Submitted a Request for Restorative Justice

Police confirmed that suspect Rismon Hasiholan Sianipar has filed a request for restorative justice in connection with the alleged fake diploma case involving the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi). The restorative justice request was submitted last week.

"Last week, he submitted the request for restorative justice," explained the Director of General Criminal Investigation of the Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police, Senior Superintendent Iman Imanuddin, on Wednesday (3/11/2026).

Iman added that the suspect visited Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police Headquarters with his lawyer to inquire about the progress of his restorative justice request.

"RHS (Rismon) and his lawyer today are questioning the letter that was submitted," he said on Wednesday (3/11/2026).

The Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police have divided this case into two clusters. The first cluster consists of five suspects: Eggi Sudjana, Kurnia Tri Rohyani, Damai Hari Lubis, Rustam Effendi, and Muhammad Rizal Fadillah. Meanwhile, the second cluster consists of Roy Suryo, Rismon Hasiholan Sianipar, and Tifauziah Tyassuma, also known as Dr. Tifa.
