Ahead 2024 General Elections, Bengkulu Police Held City Security System Simulation

Inp.polri.go.id – Bengkulu. Bengkulu Police officially carried out the simulations of City Security System in response to facing future challenges, particularly 2024 General Elections. The vice chief of Bengkulu Regional Police, Brigadier General Agus Salim says that the simulations was held to optimize personnel capabilities in handling riot or social conflicts ahead of 2024 General Elections. “According to evaluations and analysis on public disturbance based on social conflict in Bengkulu City in these past years is relatively normal. However, personnel preparations and relevant stakeholders must remain consistent. Therefore, to anticipate those things we held this simulation,” said Agus. He states that the simulations would prove useful for his police force. “For that, in security simulation ahead the Presidential, Regional Govt, and Legislative Elections on February 14th, it is expected for every personnel to fully pay attention the simulations so that they could implemented it when the day comes,” said Agus. The simulations have many different scenarios such as conflicts, riots, terrorist attack, arrest, rescuing hostage, and robbery. (ad/ndt/pr/nm)
