Ahead the gala dinner party of the 39th Asia Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology (APAO) Congress in Nusa Dua Beach Resort at Sofitel Bali Hotel, Bali Regional Police deployed Bomb Disposal and K9 Unit from the Directorate of Uniformed Regular Police. In sterilizing the room, the bomb disposal and K9 unit scour every corner of the room to ensure the room is safe and free from threats. Police officials states that other than part of the Standard Operational Procedure, the sterilization operation was to assure the security and smooth of the gala dinner party of APAO Congress. Throughout the sterilization process, fortunately the unit did not find any suspicious items such as dangerous objects or espionage tools. (ad/pt/pr/nm)
