Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Indonesian Health Minister monitored the air pollution in Palangkaraya, Central Kalimantan, which has gotten worse due to wild fire.
"It has going up higher than 90% in average, which the fog has gotten thicker. Which if it's higher than 90%, it is categorized as hazardous," said Palangkaraya Ministry of Health Polytechnic, Vissia Didin Ardiyani, Sunday (10/9/23).
Vissia stated that most of Palangkarayans suffered asthma and heart conditions and said greatly affected by the pollutions. Palangkaraya health officials has implored the community to wear face mask.
"The threat of this pollution is very dangerous for those who suffered asthma," she said quoted from rri.co.id.
Due to wildfire, Vissia stayed that the pollution also caused nausea for the locals. The headache was caused because of excessive Co2.
“The fog due to wildfires contained Co2 and dusts. The most apparent issue due to wildfires was because of the Co2 which caused nausea,” she said in conclusion.
