The posts were established due to recent extreme weather and to anticipate worst case scenario. “For the visitors and tourists in hotels, we have prepared evacuation route and mechanism in emergency situations,” say Banten Police Chief, Inspector General Rudy Heriyanto Adi Nugroho when reviewing the evacuation route, Wednesday (12/28). He emphasized that his party, along with Regional Disaster Management Agency and local government, have review the evacuation points along with its route, which are in Tambang Ayam Village and Cinangka Village. In that occasion, he also visited the beach to see the situation. “I appeal to the visitors not to swim on the beach to the high current,” says Inspector General Rudy Heriyanto. Meanwhile, officials from Serang Regional Disaster Management Agency, Nana Sukmana Kusuma adds that the early detection system have been prepared along the coast of Anyer Beach. There system would emit sounds when incident occurs.
