Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) expects people to cooperate with election organizers in actively monitor all election process. “Public participation in monitoring election process is necessary to watch over the election process,” says Commissioner of Bawaslu, Lolly Suhenty on Monday (12/18/2023). She hopes that through Bawaslu programs and activities, it would help boost public awareness to jointly monitor the election in effort to better the quality of the election. “Because Bawaslu tagline is ‘With People Election Monitored, With Bawaslu Election Justice Enforced’. We also have to remind that public has the responsibility to monitor the election,” says Commissioner Lolly. Based on that reason, Lolly reminds people not to be scared in reporting the election violation if they ever found one as Bawaslu will welcome the reports openly. “If you ever found the violation, do not be scared to report it to us. This would also serves as reminders for them on what is allowed and prohibited during the election,” closed Lolly. (ad/ndt/pr/nm)
