Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) recommends revote in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, due to many violations committed during the voting process. Bawaslu chairperson, Rahmat Bagja says that many ballots have been voted before the scheduled time. Rahmat assured that his party considered those ballots to be invalid. Rahmat also confirms the viral video of ballots that has been controlled by committee and was voted by irresponsible individuals to be true and became the main reason why Bawaslu recommends for revote. “Due to how many violations committed which affect the voting process by posts and mobile ballot box in Kuala Lumpur, we recommend revote,” said Rahmat Bagja. Moreover, Bawaslu recommends that the revote in Kuala Lumpur starts with updating the voter data list for the postal and mobile ballot box methods. The voters who have been registered to vote in polling stations are prohibited to be in the postal and mobile ballot box voter data list. Furthermore, Bawaslu also recommends the Overseas Election Organizing Committee of Kuala Lumpur to seek another method of voting to avoid the same incidents from reoccuring (ad/inp/pr/nm)
