The Bengkulu Regional Police conducted a Disaster Relief Readiness Roll Call and Equipment Inspection at the regional headquarters to ensure operational preparedness and inter-agency synergy against potential natural disasters, official sources reported on Wednesday (4/11/2026).

The ceremony was led directly by Bengkulu Police Chief Inspector General Yudhi Sulistianto Wahid, accompanied by Deputy Chief Brigadier General Prianto Teguh Nugroho, along with joint contingents from the military, Bengkulu administration and local agencies.

"Disaster management is not the task of a single institution. It requires an integrated approach among agencies and all related stakeholders. Synergy and coordination must be continuously strengthened so that field operations run quickly, accurately, and effectively," he said.

Chief Yudhi said that the geographical conditions of Bengkulu require continuous vigilance, rapid decision-making, and regular simulations to ensure equipment and officers remain fully operational for emergency response.
