Inp.polri.go.id - Binjai. The Binjai Sub-regional Police and the Langkat Military Command demolished a notorious drug and gambling hotspot and arrest two suspects in a joint raid  in Sei Bingai, Langkat Regency, on Tuesday (14/1/2025) 

“It is our second operation at this site, and we won’t allow it to reopen. We’re committed to eradicating drug and gambling activities in our region,” said Binjai Police Chief Superintendent Bambang C. Utomo, as quoted by antaranews.com.

The raid resulted in the seizure of 31 meth pipes, 85 cannabis packages, electronic scales, suspected narcotics pills, Rp 52,000 in cash, three gambling machines, and 21 vehicles, including motorcycles and a pickup truck.

“The operation sends a clear message: we won’t tolerate any activities that threaten public safety,” Chief Bambang added.

The operation is part of intensified efforts by North Sumatra Police to combat drug-related crimes.
