Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.Brigadier General Rudy Harianto, the Head of the Planning, Administration, and Operational Bureau of the Indonesian National Police Mobile Brigade Corps led the departure ceremony for Brimob forces as part of  "Damai Cartenz Operation  2024" in Papua. A total of 445 personnel, led by the task force commander, Superintendent Irwan Jaya, underwent a 30-day pre-operation training at the Brimob Cikeas Training Center and consolidation at Gunung Halimun Salak, Bogor. The personnel were trained with the skills and capabilities necessary to carry out their duties, ensuring operational consistency and uniformity. Conveyed the directive from the Brimob Commander, Commissioner General Imam Widodo, he said on Wednesday (27/12/2023) that the current social and security situation in Papua remains not conducive that it requires the troops to remain vigilant and professional in carrying out their duties. He emphasized the importance of maintaining unity and camaraderie, upholding the honor of the Brimob, adhering to the taught Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and fostering communication and harmonious relationships with regional police personnel, relevant institutions, and other community elements.
