inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Manpower has asked workers who are recipients of wage subsidy assistance (BSU) to be patient waiting for the disbursement because the assistance is certain to be disbursed soon.

"In the near future (BSU) will be given. Rest assured as this is a form of government concern for workers," said the Head of the Public Relations Bureau of the Ministry of Manpower, Sunardi Manampiar Sinaga, as reported by the Antaranews, Saturday (6/21/2025).

He said that the disbursement of BSU was delayed because the data matching and validation process was still ongoing some time ago. However, the entire process has now been completed and is currently in the finalization stage.

It is worth noting that BSU is intended for 17.3 million workers and honorary teachers with an amount of IDR 300 thousand per month per recipient. BSU will be given at once for two months (June-July 2025), so that the total disbursed is IDR 600 thousand per recipient.

The BSU program is under the coordination of the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs.

Data on BSU recipients from among workers/laborers comes from the Social Security Administering Agency (BPJS) for Employment and is consolidated with the Ministry of Manpower.

Meanwhile, data on honorary teachers is coordinated through the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen).

BSU is part of the economic stimulus package to maintain people's purchasing power and stabilize the economy during June to July 2025. The budget disbursed for the distribution of BSU reaches IDR 10.72 trillion.
