inp.polri.go.id - Semarang. The Semarang Branch Office of the State Logistics Agency (Bulog) has confirmed that all government rice reserves (CBP) currently stored are from the 2026 production period, with stock management using a rotation system to maintain quality.

"All the current CBP stocks are from the 2026 production period," said Yudha Ajipribawa, Head of the Semarang Branch Office of Bulog, when met in Semarang, Central Java, on Friday (10/30/2026).

The local Bulog office ensures that the current CBP stock of 81,600 tons is well maintained through quality stock management, capable of meeting public demand for the next four to five months.

According to Yudha, stock management is carried out with attention to quality from the rice receipt process through inspections of several parameters in accordance with government absorption regulations.

These inspections include moisture content, broken grains, percentage of grits, and degree of milling to ensure the rice meets CBP standards.

After receipt, Bulog Semarang conducts regular stock maintenance through spraying, fumigation, and daily monitoring to ensure the rice remains in good condition.

He explained that integrated pest control is also routinely implemented as part of efforts to maintain rice quality while in Bulog's storage facilities.

"We also conduct daily inspections to ensure cleanliness, and we also implement an integrated pest control checklist," he explained.

Of the total stock, Bulog's Tambakaji Warehouse in Semarang stores approximately 6,300 tons of CBP rice, including packaged Food Supply and Price Stabilization (SPHP) rice.

According to him, the stock rotation system is implemented to prevent rice with a long shelf life and to allow for new supplies.
