inp.polri.go.id - Bogor. The Indonesian National Police (INP) celebrates their 80th Anniversary at INP Mobile Brigade Training Ground, Cikeas, Bogor Regency, on Wednesday (7/1/2026).
Raising the theme “Police for the People”, this year’s commemoration became a moment to reflect to strengthen the institution to improve service quality, protection, and law enforcement for the people.
The Head of INP Public Relations, Inspector General Johnny Eddison Izir says that the 80th anniversary is not just a passage of time for INP, but a long journey of service to the country.
“The 80th Bhayangkara Anniversary has a very important meaning. Eighty years is not just a milestone for an institution, but a long journey of dedication for the community and the country. This momentum serves as a reflection to strengthen our spirit and commitment to improve our quality of service, protection, and just law enforcement,” said Johnny.
According to him, in its anniversary, INP continues to strengthen its transformation towards a modern, professional, transparent police institution that is more trusted by the public.
Johnny emphasized that the theme “Police for the People” was chosen because people are the main strength of INP in carrying out its duties as protectors and servants of the community.
“The theme is very relevant for us as we are aware that our source of strength is the people. Therefore, our orientation to the people becomes the commitment in our every duty, both in public service, protection, and law enforcement,” says Johnny.
