Inp.polri.go.id - Labuan Bajo. Twelve humanitarian aid trucks sent by the Central Java Regional Police and the Central Java Bhayangkari Organization arrived in Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara on Saturday, (22/8/2026),
Dispatched from Central Java on 17 August 2026 and shipped via Tanjung Perak Port in Surabaya, the convoy arrived around 11 am local time to deliver emergency supplies across the disaster zone.
"This aid will be handed over to the East Nusa Tenggara Police for distribution across seven affected regencies," said Central Java Police Director of General Criminal Investigation Senior Superintendent Muhammad Anwar.
The logistics shipment contains essential items, including rice, instant food, drinking water, generators, blankets, tarpaulins, medicine, and baby supplies. In addition to physical aid, Central Java Police deployed three trauma healing units and medical officers to assist traumatized residents, particularly children, as post-disaster recovery operations expand across East Nusa Tenggara.
