Inp.polri.go.id - Semarang. Central Java Regional Police launched the "Polda Jateng Peduli CTEV" program at the the Central Java Police Borobudur Building on Thursday,, offering free medical treatment for children with Congenital Talipes Equinovarus (CTEV, or also known as clubfoot).

Police will utilize the Bhabinkamtibmas community policing network to conduct active case finding down to the neighborhood level. Identified patients will be referred to Bhayangkara and Muhammadiyah-Aisyiyah hospitals for free corrective procedures and specialized orthopedic shoes.

"Bhabinkamtibmas officers will serve as the spearhead to find children with congenital foot deformities," said Central Java Police Chief Inspector General Ribut Hari Wibowo on Saturday (15/8/2026). "Residents can report cases via the 110 hotline or local officers."

The initiative collaborates with the Muhammadiyah Public Health Advisory Council (MPKU), regional health departments, social services, and partner hospitals to provide early intervention and prevent permanent disability.
