Inp.polri.go.id - Semarang. The Central Java Regional Police and local police precincts seized 4.69 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine during the 20-day Operation Pekat Candi 2026, held from 25 June 2026 to 14 July 2026.

"During the operation, 198 cases were uncovered with a total of 245 suspects arrested," said Deputy Chief of Central Java Police, Brigadier General Latif Usman, in Semarang on Wednesday (22/7/2026).

In addition to methamphetamine, officers confiscated 1.59 kg of marijuana, 1 kg of synthetic liquid, and hundreds of thousands of illegal pills. 

The Surakarta City Sub-regional Police made one of the largest busts on 30 June 2026, confiscating 3.5 kg of meth. Police also uncovered 2,112 illegal alcohol distribution cases involving 2,132 suspects, bringing the total estimated economic value of all seized evidence to Rp 15 billion.
