Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Officers from the Community Development Unit of the Ciamis District Police conducted anti-bullying awareness training for students at SDN 3 Sindangrasa elementary school in Ciamis Regency on Friday (4/9/2026).

Led by Bhabinkamtibmas community policing Unit Head First Inspector Handoyo Iwan and police officers, officers explained that bullying extends beyond physical aggression to include verbal insults, humiliation, and deliberate social exclusion.

"Character building at an early school age is crucial," Ciamis Police Community Development Head First Inspector Marsidi said on behalf of Ciamis Police Chief SuperintendentEko Iskandar. "We encourage students to respect one another and report bullying to teachers or parents."

He said that reporting harassment provides essential protection rather than seeking trouble. School administrators and students praised the outreach, noting that the session broadened student understanding of psychological harm and reporting mechanisms.
