This activity reflects the Indonesian National Police (INP)'s commitment to fostering tolerance and strengthening relationships with communities of all faiths.
The 2026 Damai Cartenz Operation Task Force personnel worked together to clean the mosque area, along with administrators and local residents. This activity also served as a means of dialogue and outreach, strengthening communication between security forces and the community to create a safe and peaceful environment.
The Head of Damai Cartenz Operation Task Force, Brigadier General Faizal Ramadhani, stated that a humanistic approach is the main foundation of the operation in Papua.
"We prioritize the values of humanity and tolerance. By visiting places of worship, we want to demonstrate that peace is built together, through mutual respect and concern for the environment and social life of the community," explained Faizal Ramadhani.
The Head of the Takmir of the An-Nur Mile 32 Mosque, Ustaz Ahmad Yoman, expressed his appreciation to the task force. He assessed that the activity had a positive impact on the surrounding community.
"We saw that the police were present with good intentions and full of respect. This activity made the congregation feel safe and respected," said Ustaz Ahmad Yoman.
The mosque cleaning activity proceeded safely and smoothly and received a positive response from the community. Through this socio-religious activity, the 2026 Damai Cartenz Operation Task Force continues to affirm its commitment to maintaining a safe, peaceful, and harmonious Papua by prioritizing a humanistic approach and community service.
