Inp.polri.go.id - Tembagapura. The Tembagapura Police Office, supported by the Damai Cartenz Task Force, organized a community educational program titled Honai Belajar Gratis for local children in Mimika Regency, Central Papua, on Tuesday (18/8/2026)

"Education is a critical foundation for the youth of Papua," said Head of the Damai Cartenz Task Force Inspector General Faizal Ramadhani. 

Damai Cartenz Task Force Deputy Head Senior Commissioner Adarma Sinaga added that community engagement and educational outreach remain core components of the task force's humanitarian operations in the region.

Beginning at 8.45 am local time, the session focused on foundational reading, writing, and basic arithmetic. Police officers utilized interactive and informal teaching techniques to maintain an engaging and supportive learning environment for the young students.

Following the study session, police officers and students shared lunch together, fostering informal dialogue and community trust within the facility. Local parent Desi appreciated the initiative, noting that the program provides constructive academic support for neighborhood families.
