Inp.polri.go.id - Nabire. The Damai Cartenz Task Force 2026 has arrested five suspects in Nabire, Central Papua, for allegedly supplying logistics and ammunition to the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) led by Aibon Kogoya.
“These five suspects were arrested across various locations following intensive intelligence surveillance, aimed at severing the supply chains that sustain armed insurgent operations in the region,” Damai Cartenz Task Force Head of Public Relations Yusuf Sutejo in Nabire on Friday (13/3/2026), as quoted by antaranews.com.
The arrests, conducted on 10 and 11 March 2026, included two suspects caught transporting food supplies and a key middleman, identified as D (alias LA), who confessed to brokering the sale of 100 rounds of ammunition at Rp 250,000 per bullet.
Law enforcement seized a motorcycle, communication devices, and bladed weapons during the coordinated raids.
