Inp.polri.go.id - Puncak Jaya. The Damai Cartenz Task Force continues to prioritize community-oriented policing, executing a humanistic patrol in Muara District, Puncak Jaya Regency, on Friday (31/7/2026).
During the patrol, task force officers engaged with local residents to ensure local stability while building direct interpersonal rapport through light conversations and distributing fresh fruit.
The informal interaction created a warm atmosphere as officers took time to listen to local community members and understand their day-to-day conditions.
Local resident Markus Wenda praised the direct visit, noting that the officers' willing approach to conversing with residents built a strong sense of trust. Similarly, Yuliana Kogeya thanked the personnel for the shared fruit, highlighting that even simple gestures make the community feel valued and supported.
Head of Damai Cartenz Task Force Inspector General Faizal Ramadhani said that routine security patrols must be paired with active public communication to build lasting trust across Papua.
"The presence of the task force is aimed not only at maintaining security, but also at cultivating communication and trust. Direct interaction allows personnel to hear and understand community conditions firsthand," he said.
Deputy Head of the Damai Cartenz Task Force Senior Superintendent Adarma Sinaga, added that respectful engagement and active listening serve as vital bridges for long-term regional peace.
