Inp.polri.go.id - Sugapa. Damai Cartenz Task Force distributed basic food aid and conducted security patrols at vital public facilities in Sugapa District, Intan Jaya Regency, on Saturday (18/7.2026).

Head of the Damai Cartenz Task Force Inspector General Faizal Ramadhani highlighted the importance of engaging directly with locals. 

"Sustainable security is built through our presence among the community," he said. "The social aid distribution and vital object patrols reflect our commitment to providing safety and strengthening public trust."

Led by Sugapa Post Commander First Inspector Andriansyah Umar, officers delivered aid directly to residents before patrolling key locations, including Bank Papua and the Sugapa Community Health Center. Officers prioritized open communication to ensure safe public services and build positive community relations.

Local resident Merlin expressed gratitude for the police presence, noting that the interaction made community members feel secure and cared for. Officeres concluded the operation with a security consolidation before returning to base.
