Inp.polri.go.id - Kiwirok. Damai Cartenz Task Force officers carried out a security patrol on foot in Pomding Village, Kiwirok District, Papua Mountains, on Friday morning (5/6/2026), monitoring conditions, and engaging with residents in a human-centered approach.
Damai Cartenz Task Force Commander Inspector General Dr. Faizal Ramadhani said that the patrols are a continuous effort to maintain stability.
“These patrols are preventive steps to ensure security remains stable. They also represent the Indonesian National Police’s commitment to serving the public through a humanist approach,” he said.
Damai Cartenz Task Force Deputy Commander Senior Superintendent Adarma Sinaga added that routine patrols will continue to reassure communities of Polri’s role as protector and public servant.
“Through consistent and humanist patrols, we aim to ensure people feel the presence of the police in safeguarding their environment,” he explained.
The patrol was part of ongoing preventive measures to anticipate potential disturbances and strengthen the presence of state security forces. Residents responded positively, noting that the patrol not only provided a sense of safety but also fostered stronger ties between the police and the community.
