Inp.polri.go.id - Puncak Jaya. The Damai Cartenz Task Force carried out dialog-based foot patrols in Talilime Village, Central Papua, on Monday (8/6/2026) to maintain public order while fostering closer relations between security forces and local residents.
During the patrol, personnel interacted directly with villagers, listening to their concerns and sharing messages on maintaining unity, avoiding misinformation, and reporting potential security threats.
Damai CartenzTask Force Commander Inspector General Faizal Ramadhani emphasized that dialog patrols are vital for strengthening communication and trust.
“Our presence is not only to safeguard stability but also to ensure people feel secure in their daily activities,” he said.
Damai Cartenz Task Force Deputy Commander Senior Superintendent Adarma Sinaga added that safety remains the top priority.
“Through dialog patrols, we aim to protect residents while building synergy with communities and religious leaders,” he noted.
Local residents welcomed the patrols, appreciating the direct engagement that reassured them of the state’s commitment to protection, even in remote areas. The operation proceeded smoothly, with conditions in Talilime remaining safe and conducive.
