inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Villages and Development of Disadvantaged Regions has asked all denizens in the country to be wise in utilizing artificial intelligence technology.

"Things that are for speed, for development, or for novelty are welcome to be used with artificial intelligence technology," said the Head of the Village and Disadvantaged Regions Human Resources Training Center, Dicky Yosepial, Tuesday (6/10/2025).

According to Dicky, one of the unwise uses of artificial intelligence is utilizing the technology to create and spread fake news.

Furthermore, Dicky explained that it is inevitable for people in the village to learn about the increasingly rapid technological developments in recent times. Adaptation to technological sophistication is important, among other things, to help drive forward villages.

"If villagers close themselves off from the development of digital technology, they would be left behind," he continued.

To optimize the use of digital technology around the village, he continued, the Ministry of Villages has also designed an action plan, namely a digital village.

"Now all programs are in digital form. We must be digitally literate. Like it or not, we must understand," said Dicky.
