Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The East Jakarta Sub-regional Metro Police established 11 security and service posts around the city in facing the homecoming and return flow of Eid Al-Fitr.
“From the 11 posts, three are the service posts and eight are the security posts,” said the Head of East Jakarta Sub-regional Metro Police Chief, Senior Superintendent Nicolas Ary Lilipaly on Tuesday (4/2/2024).
Nicolas says that the service posts were established at the places commonly used to serve the people such as Pulogebang Terminal, Kampung Rambutan Terminal, and Jatinegara Train Station.
While the security posts were established across the road crossed by the people during the homecoming and return flow, from Pasar Rebo to Cakung.
For the security of the holiday traffic flow, his party has prepared around 2,400 personnel from the ranks of sector police to regional police. The operation will also involve assigned personnel from the military.
Furthermore, Nicolas implores people who are going to travel to thoroughly check the vehicle before departing and not to excessively load the vehicle during travel.
Moreover, travelers also asked to prepare their physical condition before going to travel far. This would suppress the number of accidents occurring on the road.
