Inp.polri.go.id - Surabaya. East Java Regional Police arrested three Bojonegoro residents for manufacturing firearms for the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) in Papua.
East JavaPolice Chief Commissioner General Imam Sugianto said the arrests followed intelligence from Papua police.
"The supplier was traced to Bojonegoro," he said on Tuesday (11/3/2025).
The suspects— identified as TR (supplier), MK (machine operator), and PJ (assembler)—were part of a larger network. In total, seven suspects were arrested, including two former Indonesian Military (TNI) members.
Authorities seized 982 rounds of ammunition and five firearms, including two homemade rifles and three handguns.
The arrests followed a raid in Kalianyar, Bojonegoro, where police discovered illegal firearm-making equipment. Local officials confirmed the house was rented.
