Inspector General Nico Afinta confirmed that 11 regions would implement Emergency Micro Imposition of Restrictions on Community Activities starting July 3, 2021. “Malang City, Kediri City, Surabaya, Sidoarjo. Pasuruan City, Probolinggo City, Madiun, Lamongan, Tulungagung, Mojokerto City and Blitar City," said the Regional Police Chief, after attending the celebration of Bhayangkari Day at the East Java Regional Police Headquarter, Thursday (07/01/2021). According to the Regional Police Chief, his party has held a coordination meeting with the East Java's Regional Leadership Coordination Forum. “There are two parameters set, and the first is the problem indicator and the action indicator. At the third and fourth levels, members will be placed in 11 regions in regencies/cities in East Java,” explained the Regional Police Chief. Later, said the Regional Police Chief, all members will be alerted to the implementation of the Emergency Micro Imposition of Restrictions on Community Activities in the 11 regions of East Java. The Regional Police Chief continued, the emergency Micro Imposition of Restrictions on Community Activities policy was taken solely for the safety of the community. "Let's together support what the government has set, to always take care of ourselves, take care of our families and protect the country," continued the Regional Police Chief.
