Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Minister of Primary and Secondary Education, Abdul Mu’ti, confirmed that the Academic Ability Test (TKA) will proceed as scheduled from 3 to 9 November 2025, despite an online petition demanding its cancellation.
“The show must go on. This program has been approved by President Prabowo Subianto. We’ve socialized it thoroughly, if anyone is not ready, they don’t have to participate,” he said after on Tuesday (28/10/2025), as reported by antaranews.com
Minister Mu’ti stressed that TKA participation is voluntary, adding that over 3.5 million students have registered willingly and are aware of the requirements.
“It doesn’t make sense to cancel something that’s voluntary. If they registered, it means they understand the consequences,” he said.
A petition titled “Cancel TKA 2025,” launched by a student account on change.org, has gathered over 184,000 signatures. Minister Mu’ti acknowledged the petition but said it would not affect the program’s implementation.
