Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Cabinet Secretary Lieutenant Colonel Teddy Indra Wijaya confirmed on Wednesday (25/3/2026) that the 2026 Eid Al-Fitr transportation operations have been executed successfully, fulfilling the specific directives of President Prabowo Subianto for a smoother holiday period.

"This year, it was the hope of the President that transportation would run better, and thank God, it has been proven so far," he said, as cited by antaranews.com.

Accompanied by Minister of Transportation Dudy Purwagandhi, the Cabinet Secretary noted that despite increased public mobility, coordination between the Ministry of Transportation and the Indonesian National Police (INP) has significantly minimized disruptions. 

While minor congestion was reported at a single point, rapid field responses prevented any widespread impact on traffic flow. 

Minister Dudi added that the peak return flow is expected to continue through 25 March and rise again on 28 and 29 March 2026. To manage this, the government is promoting the "Work From Anywhere" (WFA) policy, encouraging travelers to stagger their return journeys and utilize the national one-way traffic schemes currently in effect.
