inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Youth and Sports has reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring that its youth programs are well-targeted and meet the needs of Indonesia's younger generation.

"We will continue to implement President Prabowo Subianto's priority programs in the field of youth and sports through the legislative process with the Indonesian House of Representatives," said Erick Thohir, Tuesday (6/16/2026).

According to Erick, the ministry will hold further discussions to ensure that the various youth programs designed truly address the aspirations and needs of young people.

"We will also discuss the program to ensure that it is well-targeted and meets the desires of young people," he concluded.

The ministry is also preparing several priority programs in the sports sector, such as the development of a national sports academy and national training center, improving athlete welfare, providing sports scholarships, and providing pension funds for athletes.

The Minister added that Kemenpora will continue bureaucratic reform to ensure effective and transparent budget management.

"We want every rupiah of the Kemenpora budget to be well-targeted and to benefit Indonesian youth and sports," he concluded.
