Sociologist from the State Islamic University (UIN) Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Tantan Hermansah, emphasized that the harmonization of data from the Ministry of Social Affairs and the Ministry of Human Rights is important to be realized in order to ensure the implementation of the Social Security for Employment (Jamsostek) Contribution Assistance Recipients (PBI).

"It is no longer a matter of urgency, but an obligation that needs to be completed immediately, because the integrated data will greatly help all related stakeholders who are involved in improving the state welfare and prosperity," he said on Thursday (10/31/2024).

In his statement, he emphasized that data harmonization is important to ensure that no beneficiaries are missed or receive excessive assistance.

He said that integrated data must be the new standard in this new government, as developed countries such as the United States and Germany already have one centralized data which makes their social security system becomes stronger.

With data integration, he said it would not only helps the country, but also becomes a means of accelerating community development in Indonesia.
