Inp.polri.go.id - Tangerang.  A warehouse formerly used by the KMK factory for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) filling, located on M. Toha Street in the Periuk District, Tangerang, erupted in flames following an explosion on Monday night (1/4/2024). Fauzi, the Head of the Tangerang City Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), revealed that the cause of the fire remains unknown. Five individuals sustained burn injuries and were promptly transported to nearby Sari Asih Hospital. Reports of the fire came in at 9.28 pm local time, with responders arriving on-site by 9.40 pm. Approximately 50 personnel from various agencies converged to tackle the blaze, which engulfed an area spanning 1,000 square meters. (mg/inp/pr/nm)
