Inp.polri.go.id –Central Java. Central Java Regional Police provides aid amidst drought by instructing police to drill well and providing water pump machine to several areas in the region.
The Central Java Police Public Relations Chief, Grand Commissioner Bayu Setianto reveals the 26 drilled wells and 32 water pumps were provided throughout Central Java.
“35 Sub-regional Police in Central Java simultaneously carried out the social activity by constructing 26 drilled wells and 32 water pumps, including Air reservoirs in areas experiencing drought," said Grand Commissioner Satake Bayu on Wednesday (9/20/2023).
Bayu commends that according to weather report, the beginning of rainy season in Central Java would move back up to ten to thirty days, which would be around last October to early November.
The program, suggested by the Indonesian National Police Chief, is police response in facing challenges during drought season and the effects of El-Nino.
“The Central Java Police has collaborated with relevant stake holders in providing drilled wells and water pump machine. We hope that this aid could be used well and able to overcome the challenges of drought,” hoped Grand Commissioner Satake Bayu.
