inp.polri.go.id - Denpasar. Following the riotous demonstrations that occurred last August, Bali Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Daniel Adityajaya, released the results of the investigation and inquiry.

In connection with the incident, 14 people were named as suspects, including four minors, to be processed criminally.

He emphasized that those who committed acts of destruction and disturbing public order were prosecuted.

"We are taking action against rioters who came to destroy and disturb public order by carrying out anarchic actions and damaging public facilities," said Daniel on Tuesday (9/16/2025).

The former North Kalimantan Regional Police Chief said that this was done in response to President Prabowo Subianto's instructions through the Indonesian National Police Chief to take firm action against perpetrators of anarchic actions, in accordance with applicable laws.

Dani revealed that 170 people were detained in connection with this incident. After the investigation, the police named 14 suspects, while the others were gradually returned

Furthermore, 24 witnesses were questioned, including CCTV footage from the crime scene and other evidence. As a result, the 14 individuals were proven guilty of vandalizing the Bali Regional Police Headquarters and other public facilities.
