Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  Dignitaries from various countries are arriving in Jakarta ahead of the inauguration of Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka as President and Vice President of Indonesia on Sunday (20/10/2024).

Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim was welcomed at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base by Investment Minister Rosan Roeslani. Papua New Guinea Prime Minister James Marape and Australia's Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles also arrived at the same location.

Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and South Korean Prime Minister Han Duck Soo landed at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, where they were greeted by Home Affairs Minister Tito Karnavian. New Zealand’s Deputy Prime Minister Winston Peters also arrived, welcomed by Transportation Minister Budi Karya Sumadi.

As of Saturday evening, 14 foreign leaders had arrived, including Chinese Vice President Han Zheng and Timor Leste Prime Minister Xanana Gusmao. Former German President Christian Wulff was the first to arrive on Friday night.

The inauguration ceremony will take place at the House of Representatives building complex in Jakarta on Sunday, marking the official start of their terms for 2024–2029.
