Karubaga - In the Kemala Reading Garden of Kolongger village, through the Noken Community Development Unit (Binmas Noken) programme of SI IPAR (The Teaching Police), Binmas Noken of Tolikara came and educated the schoolchildren on Saturday (09/10).
Through the SI IPAR programme, Chief of Tolikara Departmental Police, Police Grand Commissioner Attendant Muhammad Jafar, through the Chief of Community Development Unit, Police Inspector 1st Class Widada, and the Community Police Unit personnel visited and educated the early age children.
Chief of Community Development Unit, Police Inspector 1st Class Widada, said that today Police came and teaching reading, Papua's endemic plants and animals, ethics in talking and socialising, sharpening their bravery in standing and speaking in front of people, and fostering awareness to the environment.
"Today, we educate the kids a bit on Papua's endemic plants and animals and remind them that some of them are endangered", the Chief of Community Development Unit said.
He added that the personnel also thought ethics and manners, so we hoped that grow into someone with good manners, broad insight, polite in action, and take a role in guarding Papua's natural sustainability.
"We also gave them stationaries as the form of our attention in improving children's education standards and insight which has been hindered from the good and proper education access", Chief of Community Development Unit concluded.
