Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Rini Widyantini has issued a circular to ensure essential public services remain operational during the Christmas and New Year holidays.
The directive, outlined in Circular No. 6 of 2024, calls for government agencies to provide uninterrupted services, particularly in key areas such as healthcare, transportation, and public safety.
“We urge agencies delivering essential services to continue operating effectively during the holiday period,” the Minister said on Monday (16/12/2024), as quoted by antaranews.com.
The circular also advises ministry and regional leaders to manage annual leave selectively, giving priority to employees observing Christmas while maintaining service efficiency. Institutions are encouraged to adjust working hours for essential staff to prevent disruptions.
Public complaint channels, including the LAPOR! platform (www.lapor.go.id) and other feedback mechanisms, must remain active to address citizen concerns throughout the holiday season.
“This directive aims to ensure the public continues to receive quality services and experiences a seamless holiday season,” Minister Widyantini said.
Government agencies are also instructed to inform the public of any schedule changes to maintain transparency and accessibility during the holiday period.
