Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has debunked a viral Facebook post claiming it halted a corruption investigation into the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program because high-ranking officials were being protected.

A fact-check by the Jakarta administration's anti-hoax platform on Sunday (12/7/2026) revealed the claim is completely false. The KPK only suspended one specific line of inquiry to prevent overlaps, as the Attorney General’s Office had already initiated an investigation and named suspects in that particular case.

Official reports confirm that the anti-graft agency is still actively pursuing its own investigation into the MBG program based on different findings. The KPK said that the procedural adjustment was strictly administrative to ensure efficiency between law enforcement bodies rather than yielding to political pressure.
